A.P.C.'s Founders Tap Their Daughter for a Collection That Feels Like Teen Spirit
To which she declared, “This is the first time A.P.C. will make a crop top!”
A.P.C. has introduced “Interaction 19,” a collaborative project featuring Lily Touitou, the daughter of Jean and Judith Touitou, the brand’s founders. This unique collection showcases Lily’s artistic expression and distinct personality through a range of fashion pieces that embody her individual style.
The “Interaction 19” range includes a diverse selection of garments and accessories, such as a ruffled detail t-shirt, layering mini dress, lace leggings, arm warmers, flowery tote bags, mossy cardigans, early ’00s denim bottoms, heeled wedge sandals and paisley-themed scarf, skirt and shirt. The color palette revolves around minimal tones of white, black, and brown, with subtle hints of pink.
Lily fully embraced the opportunity to step into a different role and shape her vision for the collection. Supported by illustrations and a mood board, she fearlessly showcased her personality. This collaboration was not a mere imitation but a genuine expression of Lily’s individuality. With confidence, she declared, “This is the first time A.P.C. will make a crop top!”
The campaign, captured by Brigitte Lacombe, was shot in Lily’s own bedroom. The Interaction 19 collection is now available for purchase on A.P.C.’s website, with prices ranging from £40-380 GBP (approximately $50-476 USD).
