Nike Gets Rough and Rugged With Air Force 1 Wild

Arriving in black and brown.

Earlier this year, Nike teased a rustic take on the Air Force 1, giving us a peek at the Air Force 1 Wild in “Rugged Orange.”

While Nike hasn’t officially confirmed its release, a black and brown iteration of the Air Force 1 Wild has now made its way to the internet.

Designed to be the utilitarian antidote to the Air Force 1 line up, the sneaker is made to withstand rough environments. The silhouette dons the somber colorway and is comprised of ballistic nylon at the base with hits of suede on the overlay, including the Swooshes. A dominant black takes up the majority of the upper, while deep brown covers the lateral midfoot embroidery, tongue and heel branding, eyestays and reinforced heel. Both colors come together in the form of a checkered midsole, flaunting embossed “AIR” detailing. The sturdy outsole boasts an abstract splash of mauve surrounded by black.

While the release of the Air Force 1 Wild has not been officially confirmed, expect it to hit shelves in the coming weeks via Nike and select retailers after the brand officially reveals the sneaker.
