Drake Related x Defective Garments Breathes Life Into Deadstock Nike

The art of upcycling is officially Drake-approved.

Drake Related, aka the rapper’s official website, just teamed up with Defective Garments for an all-new (but also, kind of old?) collaboration that sees the design duo upcycling Nike garments.

Following partnerships with Elder Statesman, Krink and Funboy, the new collaboration with Defective Garments draws from previous Nike NOCTA releases and lands in the form of a capsule collection. Reworking a crewneck sweater and hoodie, the collection builds on the distinctly deconstructed aesthetic of Defective, merging Nike NOCTA branding with new design details.

“Defective Garments’ upcycle[d] designs, embrace the creative, sustainable craftsmanship of upcycle design. As a friend of the family, we’re excited to be able to support @Defective_Garments’ first-ever capsule collection of reimagined Nocta fleece featuring a hoodie and a crewneck,” the announcement on Instagram reads.
