Nike Air Max Scorpion Joins the "Have a Nike Day" Family With Whimsical Design

Who said sneakers couldn’t have multiple laces?

Nike’s Air Max Scorpion, now in its second year on the market, continues to impress with its unique design and various color options. Special editions featuring embroidery and gorpcore-themed finishes with protective gaiters have already been released. Now, it joins the Zoom Vomero 5 with the “Have A Nike Day” theme.

The “Have A Nike Day” edition features a smiley-shaped Swoosh, adding a fun touch to the shoe’s appearance. The external lacing system wraps around the entire upper, with a green cord lace starting at the heel and going through the midsole’s gap to the toe. A light neon green lace tightens at the heel, looping above the black knit upper with white oversized Swooshes. A multicolored pair of laces rests above the tongue, complementing the metallic silver upper underbelly and semi-translucent blue sole.

The release date for the “Have A Nike Day” Air Max Scorpion has not been disclosed yet. However, it is expected to launch alongside other colorways from the collection in the coming weeks, priced at $250 USD. The sneakers will be available on Nike’s website and select retailers.
