Dr. Martens x Wacko Maria Get Wild With Leopard Print 1461 Oxfords

Available on August 4.

Dr. Martens is tapping into its primal side as the iconic British footwear brand is teaming up with Wacko Maria.

Founded by former professional soccer players Keiji Ishizuka and Atsuhiko Mori, the Tokyo-based label fuses Japanese and American cultures, including references to pop culture and art. The timeless 1461 Oxfords are outfitted in Wacko Maria’s trademark animal print, enlivening the punk staple. A bold camel hue joins a stark white iteration, adding a fearless edge to the usually monochromatic shoes. The Oxford rests on Dr. Martens’ rubber DMS sole and is not without the brand’s familiar bright yellow stitching.

The Dr. Martens x Wacko Maria 1461 Oxfords will be available online and at participating retailers for $160 USD on August 4. Take a look in the gallery above.
