Dr. Barbara Sturm Launches a Moisturizer Built for the Slopes
The new Ski Cream is made in collaboration with skiwear brand Perfect Moment.
Dr. Barbara Sturm is bringing skincare to the slopes with Ski Cream, a limited-edition moisturizer made in collaboration with luxury skiwear brand Perfect Moment. Inspired by Sturm’s lifelong love of skiing, the cream is said to protect skin from freezing temperatures, biting winds and dry mountain air that can leave skin tight and sensitive.
Made with Alpine botanicals, the formula pairs edelweiss, which helps shield skin from oxidative stress, with masterwort to ease discomfort and aid skin renewal, and Alpine rose to defend against cold-weather stressors. Panthenol hydrates and calms visible redness, while biofermented purslane soothes skin and restores vitality. Working alongside them, a lipid complex forms a protective layer that locks in moisture.
“Collaborating with Perfect Moment felt like a very natural fit, as performance and innovation are at the heart of both brands,” Sturm says in a press release. The brand says shifting between cold outdoor air and heated indoor spaces can deplete moisture, which the cream is formulated to help counter.
Ski Cream retails for approximately £80 GBP and is available for purchase on the brand’s website.
