Balmain Hair "L'Année de la Muse" Visual Series Unveils Its Second Chapter

Our Parisian muse’s hair is going through heartbreak — and rebirth.

Balmain Hair is releasing the second chapter “L’Année de la Muse” visual campaign, only this time, our muse is suffering from a bit of heartbreak.

The four-part series will take place over the next year, rolling out a digital series that chronicles the path of the Parisian, highlighting the way her hair changes as it mirrors her journey through life.

“Muse Du Printemps” follows the unnamed French woman into spring, where a break-up allows her to find a sense of renewal. Embodying the spirit of rebirth, she starts anew in the face of love lost. Directed by Bobby Afonso and photographed by Sebastian Faena, each clip will showcase her personal evolution through several beautiful hairstyles, all created with Balmain Hair products.

Chapter one, titled “Muse D’Amour” or “The Muse of Love,” is the first chapter. Throughout the video, you see scenes of the main character basking in the first few moments of falling for her lover. “This chapter captures the beauty and vulnerability of love, with the hair symbolizing the heartfelt connection and passion that define this stage of her life. Our muse is deeply in love. Her hair, soft and flowing, is a reflection of her tender emotions, embodying [its pure essence],” the brand said in a press statement. You can watch “Muse D’Amour” below.
