Mia Khalifa Walks the Runway at "Mother" in NYC

As part of the Trans Justice Funding Project.

On March 31, Bobbi Salvör Menuez and John Mollett hosted the first of three fundraisers for the Trans Justice Funding Project, beginning with a runway show in New York City. Titled “Mother,” in homage to the project name — Mother, Daughter, Holy Spirit (MDHS) — the runway show celebrated trans identities with a star-studded cast.

Featuring Mia Khalifa, who returned to the runway after her recent appearance at Di Petsa during London Fashion Week, the cast also included Alex Consani, Colin Jones and Richie Shazam. Styled by Julia Ragolia, the runway show featured looks from designers like Conner Ives, Marni, Vaquera and Willy Chavarria.

On top of that, celebrities like Hari Nef, Julia Fox, Pedro Pascal, Chloë Sevigny, Lena Waithe and Tommy Dorfman also donated pieces from their own wardrobes to feature in the showcase. As a result, some pretty impressive looks appeared on that runway, including a custom Zegna suit formerly worn by Pedro Pascal at the 2023 Oscars.

Take a look at some of our favorite looks from the show above, with several pieces being sold on the official Mother, Daughter, Holy Spirit website.
