Coperni Is Making Skincare Clothing a Thing

The brand’s innovative C+ line just made its runway debut.

While other brands expand into the beauty category, Coperni is blurring the lines between fashion and skincare with its new C+ line of “Carewear” clothing. With Paloma Elsesser as its muse, C+ is said to provide skincare benefits as you wear the pieces. By infusing fabric with probiotics and prebiotics, Coperni hopes to reinvent the way we see clothes.

At Paris Fashion Week, Coperni’s Spring/Summer 2026 show sent models down the runway wearing the brand new pieces. Styled with leather bomber jackets and lace wrap skirts, the C+ capsule is proving how essential basic garments are. Furthermore, the collection’s first-of-its-kind nature doesn’t lie in its outward appearance — but rather, within the fabric itself.

“We are rethinking the connection between clothing and the body. Beyond covering, protecting or expressing, garments can now care for, nourish, and support the body where it feels most alive. That vision gave birth to carewear: a new category of clothing with a new role to play,” designers Arnaud Vaillant and Sébastien Meyer say in a press release. Above all else, the innovation strives to preserve comfort.

Fabric from the collection contains dermatologically tested live beneficial bacteria which are released gradually through movement, friction and body heat. In addition to leaving you with skincare benefits even after 40 washes, the line is said to help rebalance the microbiome and enhance your skin‘s natural glow. As for ingredients, C+ makes use of fructo-oligosaccharides for prebiotics, bacillus genus and bacillus subtilis for probiotics and biobased matrix polysaccharides.

The C+ Carewear collection includes leggings, a bodysuit and a top — which range from $175 USD – $195 USD. They are now available for purchase on the brand’s website.
