Paloma Wool SS26 Was a Sheer Dream

With sheer shirts, leggings, dresses and even socks…

Spotlights, sheers and a child opening the show, this was Paloma Wool Spring/Summer 2026. Taking place in a dimly lit hall in the 16th arrondissement, the lights were turned on by a young girl running through the set. This created large-scale shadows of the models’ silhouettes projected on the walls as they moved through the space.

The collection featured the brand’s usual favorites with plenty of sheer layering, ballet flats and sandy neutrals alongside a range of fresh updates. Mesh revealed delicate undergarments with contrast trims peeking from beneath, while the palette received a vibrant makeover with cyan and neon green energizing the neutrals. Sequins also added a hint of glamor shining through the lightweight fabrics, but never overpowering. At the same time, side button closures appeared on shirts recalling the construction of baby bodysuits, a nod to Paloma’s recent motherhood.

Many of the subtleties spotted throughout glance back at the late ’90s and early 2000s, revisiting the designer’s own youth, such as the miniature pockets, sheer stirrup socks paired with kitten heels and cropped leggings in fine knits layered under skirts. This collection was all kinds of ‘undone dressing‘ as already seen across many of the SS26 runways, but with a certain practicality, perhaps another ode to motherhood. Cool, understated and meticulously styled, everyone wants to be a Paloma Wool girl.
