Vooglam Leaves the Virtual Behind For an IRL Pop-Up at Electric Forest

Ditching the digital realm – temporarily – for the real world, the eyewear brand touches down in Michigan later this month to celebrate a new collection.

From URL to IRL, affordable, artful eyewear brand Vooglam is bringing its online eyewear shopping experience offline with Electric Forest. From June 19 to June 22, Vooglam will showcase its snazzy selection at the EDM festival in Rothbury, Michigan, to celebrate its Cult Vision Eyewear Collection and campaign.

Inspired by various style subcultures – think indie sleaze and gothcore, to name a few – the Cult Vision collection continues Vooglam’s striking hot streak of trend-driven drops that tap into today’s major cultural moments. The direct-to-consumer brand’s latest line is more than just stylish spectacles; it arrives alongside a full-length zine that spotlights music festival culture and the niche aesthetics of fashion-minded individuals.

The Cult Vision zine takes a closer look at four major music genres – Hip-Hop/Rap, Country/Indie, Rock and EDM – each tied to a specific subculture, with the latter, EDM, naturally nestled in rave culture. Catering to the free-spirited festival-goers of that space, Vooglam heads to Electric Forest to host an activation that spotlights the funky frames included in the Rave Culture capsule of the Cult Vision collection.

While soaking in the sights and sounds of Electric Forest, attendees will have the opportunity to try on the show-stopping specs, including the Borislav Square Glasses, the Khin Cat Eye Glasses, the Porsha Aviator Glasses and the Mondrian Square Glasses, in hopes of finding the perfect match to their festival ‘fits.

Don’t miss out on Vooglam’s IRL activation at Electric Forest – but if you do, skip the FOMO and head to the brand’s official site to check out the Cult Vision Collection and Rave Culture capsule in full.
