Moon Boot Swaps the Slopes for the Streets

Dropping its first-ever sneaker collection.

Moon Boot is stepping out of the snow and into the sneaker game with its most unexpected move yet. Known for the signature snow boot seen at every après-ski since 1969, the brand is now swapping powder for pavement with this debut sneaker series, the Moon247.

The collection features a variety of colorways and models, all with that signature cushiony sole and now, the added everyday functionality of a sneaker. Leading the pack is the XLace, a sport-infused model combining the brand’s traditional cross-lacing with a multicolored nylon and leather upper. The shoe also comes in a Mid edition for those who prefer the high-top look.

For something a bit more elevated, there’s The City, which features bicolor laces and is available in both shearling and suede. Alternatively, the Slip On offers a more casual and on-the-go vibe.

Ideal for both the snowy peaks and city streets, the collection is a winter must-have. The distinctive sole and techy lacing is perfect for all the gorpcore girlies out there, and if you’re tired of soggy UGGs, the Slip On might be your new wet-weather essential.

The collection is now available via the Moon Boot website.
