Embracing a slow, artisanal rhythm, cult footwear label Miista recently took a crew of creatives from Paris to Pépin Winemakers in Alsace for the ultimate messy, hands-on vineyard experience.

Nodding to traditional, human-led craftsmanship, the Miista team spent the day amongst the vines throwing themselves feet-first into grape-treading. Ditching standard perfection for raw experience, shoes were kicked off immediately to take the meaning of "raw materials" to a whole new level.

Known for making vibrant and organic natural wines, Pépin's low-intervention ethos aligns seamlessly with Miista's passion for experimental craft, human connection and subverting fashion norms. The best part? The grapes trodden during this autumnal getaway will spend the next year fermenting into custom natural wine. Once it's ready, Miista will reunite with the crew in Paris to sip the very fruits of their labor. From vineyard to glass, it's a sweet celebration of slow living, unpredictable creativity and total togetherness.

With the brand's recent evening hosting lectures from women in partnership with Lost Property in London, this is another step in the brand's community-first ethos, buidling something that is so much more than just a brand. As we continue to take in our first look at what Spring/Summer 2027 has to hold, the runways this season have been a sight for sore eyes so far. Stunning color combinations that are sure to hit your feed in the next few months, seasonal infusions of gorpcore and gowns galore have been on the SS27 menu, but it's time we pull our focus away from the clothes and straight to the floor. Designers have been pushing footwear far beyond simple utility this season, transforming shoes into the main character.

SS27 has delivered a bold study in contrasts. On one end of the spectrum, nostalgia and childhood fantasy have taken center stage through ballet flats, sheer lace detailing and hyper-feminine embellishments. On the other, sharp tailoring was anchored by exaggerated silhouettes and unexpected texture play. Collaborative sneakers have continued their reign on the catwalk, while statement heels are proving sculptural, artful footwear is officially back in style.

Chanel

This is a shoe fresh out of Sofia Coppola's Marie Antoinette. A brocade upper sprinkled with beads, Matthieu Blazy is bringing intricate pumps back for the spring. This delicious red and turquoise color combo has already hit the moodboard, Chanel bow included.

Saint Laurent

Saint Laurent's gilded runway was a visual feast, but despite all the stunning outfits, it was the footwear that stole the show. In line with the golden theme of the collection, glittering heels bring a touch of opulence to SS27. Chain details, gemstones and a sculpted heel define what is already one of the shoes of the season.

Lacoste

One of the more unusual shoes to hit the PFW runways, Lacoste continues to redefine what tennis fashion looks like. Introducing a new sneaker to the mix, these platform steppers include one standout detail — a squashed tennis ball heel.

The Attico

Gladiator sandals are back in a big way. Giving the girls a sexy, thigh-high strappy delight to look forward to next year, The Attico is reminding us that sometimes the shoe is the outfit.

Marni

At Marni SS27, Mary Janes got an update as the classic silhouette strutted down the runway in '70s earth tones. Some were on their own, but the most interesting pairs were the ones with built-in hosiery, creating a gorgeous, sheer illusion on the round-toe boot-Mary Jane hybrids.

Ferragamo

Ferragamo, as always, offers traditional luxury through a refined, contemporary lens. For SS27, Maximilian Davis' signature design language manifested itself in sculptural heels with satin uppers and metallic accents — the perfect accompaniment to any outfit.

MM6 Maison Margiela

Warm weather is still all about the toes according to MM6 Maison Margiela. After a delightfully foot-focused year, SS27 is taking it to another level, with these leather mules making sure we keep all ten toes on the ground for every occasion.

Onitsuka Tiger

Onitsuka Tiger will alway be one of our favorite brands, but for SS27, the footwear options blew us away. Loafers, grandpa sandals and pumps all strutted down the runway, but these knee-high boots in that iconic colorway are already on our wishlist.

Prada

To top off all the knee-length skirts that swished down the catwalk, every Prada girl needs the perfect heel. For SS27, Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons are giving us the best of both worlds: the freedom of an open-toe sandal and the stability of your favorite pair of pumps, complete with a curved heel.

KNWLS

The footwear at KNWLS SS27 has our heart. Adding its signature edge to an otherwise sweet shoe, pairs of satin, bow-topped heels and boots featured a round, wooden sole for a unique take on springtime fashion.

Susan Fang

Susan Fang SS27 went back to the future, sending 3D-printed heels down the runway in nearly every shade of the rainbow. These blossoming mules feature a sprouting garden of flowers, complete with a built-in toe ring for warm weather parties, brunches and dates.

AREA

Working in collaboration with recent Polimoda graduate Evelina Kryvopust, AREA brought lingerie to footwear this season. The Ukrainian designer's barely-there lace pumps were an instant hit as they walked the runway, adding a new sex appeal to footwear in a way that teeters the line between functionality and art.

Sandy Liang

Sandy Liang SS27 was a playful paradise, channeling the freedom of childhood, dress-up games and playing princess. Elevating the aesthetics of girlhood, bunny slippers were reimagined as a high fashion wedge with subtle ears and two crystal eyes, adding a touch of kitsch to the Sandy girl's closet.

Collina Strada

Presented on a grassy runway at Storm King Art Center, Collina Strada's SS27 show featured a few different shoe pairings, but these ruffled masterpieces caught the eye instantly. Arriving in pastel, springtime colors, lace frills and a bit of that signature Collina Strada edge in the form of metallic spikes, this is one drop we cannot wait for.

Dauphinette

Bringing soft, fuzzy comfort to a show filled with stunning gowns, beetle accents and delicate embroidery, Dauphinette unveiled a collaboration with UGG on its SS27 runway. Taking a highly-contentious silhouette from the brand — the Zora Ballet Flat — Dauphinette's take on the slip-on is hand-painted and decorated with bows and a sheepskin lining.

Campillo

One of the most unique designs to hit the runway this season, Campillo brought the kitchen mop to the world of fashion. A thick fringe surrounding the leather upper of a pointed toe mule, is exactly the type of bold, experimental fashion we expect from New York season after season.

In a campaign starring global music icon KAROL G, the 8x Latin GRAMMY and GRAMMY winner continues her long-term partnership with the brand to highlight connection, self-expression and community.

Arriving as part of the brand's "Born Classic. Worn for Life." campaign, the new sneaker fits perfectly in the world of Karol G. Her seasonal campaign draws direct inspiration from the warm orange hues and vibrant palette of her Tropicoqueta era, so a bright orange high-top is right up the Colombian star's alley.

For Fall/Winter 2026, adidas Originals has joined forces with cult streetwear label Hellstar once again to expand their ongoing collaboration into a complete, head-to-toe lifestyle collection. Moving beyond footwear, the duo presents the Megaride FW26 Collection — a range designed for those who embrace unapologetic self-expression and reject convention.

At the heart of the capsule is the Hellstar Megaride S2. The sneaker features a dramatic gradient colorway transitioning from deep black into vivid red, complete with Hellstar’s signature flame-inspired graphics across the silhouette.

The fiery design language extends throughout an expansive apparel line. Global running brand Saucony has officially dropped its highly anticipated "Space Cowboy" capsule collection, blending rugged Western aesthetics with modern performance technology. JISOO is heading into the great outdoors with Salomon, but not without making a few city stops along the way. For Fall/Winter 2026, the K-pop star fronts "IN THE OPEN," her first global campaign for the brand since becoming an ambassador earlier this year.

Shot across South Korea, the campaign explores the space between Seoul's urban landscape and the outdoors, moving through parks, trails and quieter corners of the city. Rain, fog, wind and forest become part of the setting, reflecting Salomon's approach to winter as a constantly changing environment rather than one fixed landscape.

"I naturally prefer light and comfortable movement in my everyday life," JISOO shared, highlighting the versatility that drew her to the brand. "I love how versatile Salomon footwear is, making it suitable for both everyday wear and outdoor activities."

The accompanying capsule brings that same flexibility to three of Salomon's XT silhouettes. The XT-6 Protective gets a more rugged update with ripstop construction and textured detailing, while the XT-Whisper GORE-TEX introduces weather protection to the lightweight silhouette for the first time. Hunter is celebrating 170 years of outdoor style, and it's calling on a longtime friend of the brand to mark the milestone. The heritage British footwear label has reunited with supermodel Kate Moss for its Autumn/Winter 2026 campaign, aptly titled "Iconic by Nature."

The connection between Moss and Hunter dates back over two decades, rooted in the model's effortless festival style that has fueled Tumblr blogs and Pinterest boards for years. "I've been a loyal fan of Hunter for years, ever since the festival where I wore them with way-too-short shorts and a waistcoat." Moss recalled in a press release. WNBA star Angel Reese is taking her legendary pairing with REESE'S to the next level. Joining forces with the iconic chocolate brand, Reebok and Reese have officially unveiled the newest colorway for her signature shoe: the Reebok Angel Reese 1 'REESE’S.'

Continuing a partnership that has seen Reese on the front of cereal boxes and the face of ads, this limited-edition drop celebrates Hershey’s latest innovation: the REESE’S PIECES with Chocolate Cookie. Blending high-performance basketball technology with the usual flair of the AR1, the sneaker brings the candy’s iconic orange, yellow and brown palette straight to the hardwood. The bold colorway covers the upper, complete with Reebok x REESE’S branding on the tongue and sockliners. To top off the collector's item, each pair arrives in a limited-edition orange shoe box.

In a press release, Reese said "The Angel Reese 1 'REESE'S' is one of the colorways I've been most excited to drop this season. Bringing together two of my long-term partners for a fun and unexpected collab is special. We designed this colorway especially for my fans, for the Reese's Pieces!"

The Reebok Angel Reese 1 'REESE'S' drops on October 20 in both adult and kids sizing on the Reebok website and select retailers.

London-based label Damson Madder has officially stepped into the footwear game, tapping iconic British brand Clarks Originals for its first-ever shoe capsule. Reimagining two quintessential Clarks Originals silhouettes through its signature playful lens, the collection seamlessly blends comfort and utility with contemporary feminine edge.

Leading the drop is the "Walla Damson" Wallabee. Dressed in eye-catching pillar box red, the suede upper is anchored by Clarks’ classic natural crepe rubber outsole. Bespoke, hiking-inspired eyelets, custom tonal lacing and a redesigned "Damson Girl" heel motif — a tongue-in-cheek nod to Clarks' 1970s "Trekman" graphic — give the classic silhouette an updated street-ready twist.

For a softer look, the "Nomad Damson" Mule remixes Clarks' open-back Nomad silhouette in a rich "Chocolate Plum" colorway. Fitted with a custom double strap featuring silver "D" and "M" branded hardware, the slip-on adds effortless everyday footwear to the Damson Madder look.

Both pairs feature a custom polka-dot footbed, complete with dual-branded detailing and two mix-and-match fob charms to personalize your fit.

Something's off at Jordan Brand, and that's exactly the point. For its collaboration with Mowalola, the sportswear giant is stepping into a surreal world where basketball, fashion and club culture collide, and nothing quite behaves as expected.

Titled "Something's Off," the campaign takes place inside an abandoned hotel, where familiar objects, gestures and rituals begin to shift out of place. Directed through the lens of renowned photographer and filmmaker Norbert Schoerner, the story brings together cultural icon Alek Wek and emerging names including Chxrry, Tezzus and Pz', reflecting the creative communities and individualism that have shaped Mowalola's work.

The collection applies that same disruptive energy to Jordan's most recognizable codes. Anchored by a reimagined Air Jordan 14 mule, the lineup combines basketball-inspired footwear and clothing with oversized leather, faux fur, translucent tartan and fitted performance pieces. "I didn't want to just design a shoe. I wanted to create a world," Mowalola shared, and the collaboration certainly delivers on that front.

The world of "Something's Off" will also come to life in London, with a temporary retail and exhibition space opening on Oxford Street. Featuring immersive visuals from the campaign, the space promises to feel less like a store and more like stepping inside Mowalola's imagination.

The collection drops on September 19 via the Mowalola website.

Ahead of the New York Fashion Week chaos, we teamed up with ASICS Sportstyle on September 9 to curate an evening centered on wellness, relaxation and self-care. Hosted on the first floor of The Blanc NYC, guests gathered for an exclusive "slumber party" designed to reset the mind and body under ASICS’ founding philosophy, "Sound Mind, Sound Body."

Delivering sleepover vibes minus the slumber, guests traded standard evening wear for cozy, clean-lined athleisure, setting the tone for a calm and intimate setting. The evening started with skin consultations, with tailored sessions allowing attendees to focus on their own specific needs and craft a personal skincare regimen to last them through Fashion Week and beyond.

After treating their skin and putting their best face forward, the real relaxation began with a guided sound bath. A soothing sound bath session grounded the room, providing a peaceful escape from the city before the upcoming fashion schedule.

In addition to the skin consultations and calming energy, guests went home with personalized ASICS Sportstyle footwear to complete their off-duty rotation for the week.

Hosted just before the fashion circuit descended on the city, the event offered a rare pause for attendees to recharge and connect before taking on NYFW.
