The 2018 Golden Globes awards ceremony has just kicked off, marking a shift in the entertainment industry and Hollywood as a whole. After over 300 women in Hollywood including actresses, film agents, writers and directors came together to announce the “Time’s Up” movement on January 1, the attendees of the ceremony are taking action against the industry’s power imbalance and sexual misconduct and harassment.
Show-goers wore all black in solidarity, with actresses like Millie Bobby Brown, Zoe Kravitz, Kerry Washington and Tracee Ellis Ross making an appearance at the event. The male attendees also sported “Time’s Up” pins, to show their support.
