The 2026 Emmys took place at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles to celebrate TV’s biggest and best performances of the year, alongside a red carpet worthy of its own celebration. Stars turned up in full glam with plenty of nods to old Hollywood, ’90s minimalism and, of course, a fair dose of glitzy maximalism.
Love Story star Sarah Pidgeon made a nod to her screen character Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy with a simple Chanel slip dress, and elsewhere Elle Fanning also opted for the elegant slip in a mint green by Ralph Lauren. On the other end of the spectrum, Selena Gomez hit the carpet in a gold sequin Louis Vuitton look that echoed the warm gold of the Emmy award itself, while Zendaya turned heads as usual in a bejewelled Prada gown appearing to be covered in crystals reminiscent of a chandelier.
