Take a First Look at the Forthcoming Raf Simons x Eastpak PVC Backpacks
Inspired by ‘Blade Runner.’
Cult favorite Raf Simons has teamed up with Eastpak for an exclusive Spring/Summer 2018 collaboration. The two brands are releasing a capsule collection which includes translucent backpacks, shoulder bags and more. The accessories are inspired by Asian culture and also pull from the futuristic film Blade Runner.
Returning from Raf Simons’ dystopian Spring/Summer 2018 collection, the RS Toploader backpack appears in semi-transparent PVC while the fabric inner featuring the “Replicants” graphics from Blade Runner. Detailing includes well-cut outer straps and on-trend hardware. One bag appears in a bright orange colorway while the other comes in a light purple hue beneath the PVC. On the back of the latter, branding appears in bold, white font.
The collection will be available in-store at Eastpak for $270 USD on January 27. Take a look at the accessories in the gallery above.
