Virgil Abloh x Nike Air Force 1 for MoMA Collaboration Is Officially Releasing
In commemoration of the ‘Items: Is Fashion Modern?’ exhibit.
Last year designer Virgil Abloh confirmed that an Air Force 1 ‘07 would be released on behalf of Off-White™ in a black colorway. According to a statement released by the global sportswear brand announces the forthcoming release of a limited edition pack. The collaboration commemorates The Museum of Modern Art‘s latest exhibition titled Items: Is Fashion Modern?
The release features a Virgil Abloh x Nike Air Force 1 for MoMA black edition and a co-branded Nike Elite basketball sock as a gift with purchase. Additionally, a special archive print first published in 2006 – 1Thology: The Air Force 1 poster will be re-issued. The special items celebrate the cultural significance of the Air Force 1 which was originally created as a basketball sneaker in 1982.
