Royole debuts the FlexPai.
Royole has just released the world’s first commercial foldable phone. The FlexPai can be used as both a smartphone and tablet folding in the middle to transform between the two.
It provides the “portability of a smartphone plus the screen size of a high-definition tablet.” Specs include a a 7.8 inch full-color display, 4:3 aspect ratio, and 920 x 1440 resolution along with a 20 and 16 megapixel cameras.
Royole founder and CEO Dr. Bill Liu shares more on the phone’s functions:
