Nike is having a major moment during the Fall/Winter 2018 Fashion Month. John Elliott‘s inaugural womenswear collection stole our hearts not only with its cozy pieces and effortlessly chic styling, but also with its unique take on the chunky sneaker trend. At the New York Fashion Week show, we saw two women’s Nike sneaker styles that are on-trend without being excessive or impractical. In particular, the all-black low Vandal 2K is reimagined with a bold creeper sole, while the Air Monarch receives a stylish makeover in red, white and blue hues.

The moment Stranger Things star Sadie Sink stepped on the UNDERCOVER Fall/Winter 2018 runway, we knew that the show was going to be something special. As longtime collaborators, Jun Takahashi and Nike have continued their partnership to debut a new React Element 87 pack. Coming in an assortment of colorways, including red, blue and green, the low-top runner is designed with Nike Running’s React Foam technology, and is constructed with a variety of technical fabrics.

Never a brand to shy away from boundary-pushing designs, COMME des GARÇONS has unveiled a range of platform Cortez sneakers in Rei Kawakubo‘s signature black and white color scheme. Featuring premium leather construction, the classic shoes are stacked up high with statement-making soles printed with striped and checkered patterns. The iconic, jagged herringbone pattern on the outsole remains intact on this imaginative silhouette.

Arriving in black and white colorways, the shoes are completed with translucent soles, as well as Virgil’s signature design elements like the labelled “SHOELACES” and red zip-tie tags. For those who missed out on “The Ten” collection last year, it’s time to save up because these could soon become yours.
