Elastigirl Takes Charge in the New 'Incredibles 2' Trailer
Coming to a theater near you on June 15.
A new trailer has been shared for the upcoming Incredibles 2 movie which picks up where the 2004 original left off. The Disney/Pixar film follows a family of five that each are gifted with special abilities. Mr. Incredible and his wife Elastigirl try to maintain a sense of normalcy despite their double lives as superheroes. Their children, Violet, Dash and baby Jack Jack join in on the family business displaying talents of their own.
The clip opens up with an innocent dinner scene in which Violet addresses the “elephant in the room.” Following the defeat of the villain Syndrome, supers are in a unique position to return to the public and Elastigirl has been chosen to lead the charge. She leaves her husband at home with the kids while she goes on to fight crime. Eventually, she gets into a tight spot that requires the Incredibles to return in full.
