Nike‘s experimental hybrid sneaker, the Air VaporMax 97 has already been unveiled in “Metallic Gold” and “Silver Bullet” colorways that are a must-cop. For those who are more on the demure side when it comes to footwear, then perhaps this new “Metallic Cashmere” version is for you.
The Frankenstein-style silhouette is a mashup of the Air Max 97 and Air VaporMax styles. The trademark, wavey upper of the 97 sees subtle contrasts in creamy, off-white tones which are intertwined with bright white details. A red mini Swoosh stands out, embroidered on the lateral side and upon the tongue. The heel tab features red Air Max text branding and 3M reflective detailing, white laces and lining complete the clean look.
The unit rests upon a transparent Air VaporMax midsole which extends along the entire length of the shoe. Elements of a black outsole are scattered across the bottom, adding an edgy appeal to these versatile kicks.
