The hybrid Air VaporMax 97 is set to drop in another classic Nike colorway: “Metallic Gold.”

The shoe has the upper of an Air Max 97 and the classic bubble sole of an Air VaporMax making it one of the Swoosh’s most innovative sneakers. Its golden waves are accented by a “Gym Red” mini Swoosh that lies atop a mesh accent. Black detailing is seen on the tongue tag, inner lining, and pull tab completing the crossbred sneaker. Those who can’t decide between either silhouette can now enjoy the best of both worlds.

There’s no word on the retail price of the casual runner but it’s set to stock at Nike and affiliated retailers on May 12. Stay tuned for more release information and in the meantime enjoy the official imagery above. In case you missed it, the “Silver Bullet” iteration is set to stock tomorrow.
