South Korean longboarding sensation Ko Hyojoo has taken the internet by storm thanks to videos of her gliding along effortlessly and mesmerizingly through streets in cities worldwide. Alongside her stellar skating skills, Ko is also known for her killer sense of style – something that’s seen her tapped by none other than the mega-brand of the moment, Gucci itself.
Now, the longboarder has teamed up with Scottish luxury brand, Strathberry, and not only is she starring in a campaign for them, she’s also designed her own bag as part of the partnership. Ko’s interpreted the elegant Strathberry Midi Tote, which arrives in a luxe, vanilla calf leather finish and features a detachable shoulder strap and branded hardware throughout. The roomy handbag has space for all your everyday necessities and is lined with a soft, suede-like fabric – there’s even a zipped interior pocket for additional safekeeping.
Ko’s added a hand-painted dainty floral pattern in watercolor hues, which is printed upon the shoulder strap, front and and bottom of the bag as a nod to the art that lines the bottom of a skateboard deck. For those who’re currently obsessed with the mini handbag trend, this chic bag is also available in Nano sizing.
