The 2018 Met Gala was perhaps one of the best-dressed events of the year. Celebrity stylists pulled their best and most creative looks to fit the “Heavenly Bodies” theme and most nailed it. Of course the celebration wouldn’t be complete without a handful of NYC after-parties thrown at a variety of night club venues.
After completing her hosting duties, Rihanna remerged in a slinky Nina Ricci pant suit that she paired with square sunglasses. She maintained her slick updo and added some draped necklaces for effect. Kim Kardashian pulled off her second epic look of the night suiting up in a strappy Versace mini dress with clear heels to pair. Virgil Abloh styled muse Kendall Jenner in an Off-White™ dress inspired by painter Michelangelo. She was joined by model friends Bella and Gigi Hadid who each took a direction in their outfit choices. Gala first-timer Cardi B switched out of her flowy gown to don a floor-length Versace shirt that she cinched closed with a black belt over her pregnant belly.
