Buffalo London x Opening Ceremony's New Platforms Arrive in "Baby Pink" & "Metallic Silver"
Peak ’90s vibes.
This week, Buffalo London and Opening Ceremony are launching their first collaboration. The low-top and high-top platform sneakers, which were popular in the ’90s, will be arriving in “Baby Pink” and “Metallic Silver.”
The chunky shoes debuted at OC’s Spring 2018 Disneyland show and now shoppers will have a chance to try them out for themselves. Its upper is secured with a lacing system and strap so that active ladies can still enjoy the height. Buffalo branding is seen on the thick midsole and lateral adding to its post-Millenium aesthetic. In the editorial above, we see a trio of girls rocking the pack in the streets of Seoul, South Korea. The shoes are styled with knee and floor length skirts mimicking the style of the early 2000s.
Starting on May 10th, Buffalo London x Opening Ceremony will be available exclusively at Opening Ceremony stores in New York, Los Angeles, and Tokyo, and on openingceremony.com. The low-top platform sneakers retails for $225 USD and the high-top goes for $250 USD. Take a closer look at each silhouette below.
