Pharrell and adidas Originals are set to release the China-exclusive “Friends and Family” Hu NMD Trail pack this weekend. Among the four new colorways is a gold “HAPPY” color combination that we finally get a clear look at.
Its upper is a subtle tan shade that is accented with Chinese characters and the word “HAPPY” in white. Between the upper and translucent outsole is a shiny gold midsole feature that runs from the front to the rear. Bungee-like laces are draped across its frame creating one of our favorite pairs of the season. It’s rumored that only 300 pairs of this colorway will be stocked for the May 12 release date.
