Here's a Sneak Peek at Disney x Coach's "A Dark Fairy Tale" Collaboration

Fanny packs, totes and more.

Disney and Coach have teamed up to add a dark twist to some of our favorite childhood films. The “A Dark Fairy Tale” collection is a line of leather bags and apparel that is inspired by Disney princess tales and New York City.

Motifs from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Sleep Beauty and other popular movies are subverted with edgy graphics and jagged textures. Images of dark castles, poisoned apples and woodland creatures are printed onto the fanny packs, totes and crossbody bags. The range also includes retro T-shirts with rock-and-roll fonts to pair with moto jackets.

This line marks the duo’s third collaboration. Creative director Stuart Vevers shares his excitement for the new capsule:

“I have always loved Disney – both the movies and the fantasy worlds created that have captured my imagination for many decades. It was fun to explore the darker side of these stories and mix Disney’s nostalgic charm with Coach’s creativity to bring my memories from these fairy tales to life within our world of accessories and ready-to- wear. The Disney spirit truly reinforces the new youthful perspective we are bringing to luxury at Coach.”

Shoppers will be able to get their hands on these items on May 14 in stores and online. Peep the lookbook above to get a taste of what’s to come.
