Hailey Baldwin's Gucci Cardigan Is the Cozy Summer Cover-Up We've Been Looking For

Found it.

The thing about summer dressing is that it requires strategic planning. Hailey Baldwin seems to understand that pretty well. It feels nice to bare your midriff and all now that the temperatures are rising, but one simply can’t leave home without some light outerwear. To catch a cold during the slightly chilly evenings of early summer is not fun. All this is to say that a jacket of some sort is still necessary this season.

Courtesy of Hailey, we’ve found the perfect item to pair crop tops with this summer — a statement cardigan. While hanging out in New York late last month, the 21-year-old model was spotted wearing a mini tank top with some laid-back jeans and boots. You might have noticed the Supreme x Louis Vuitton bag resting on her shoulder, but the real highlight of Hailey’s outfit is actually her oversized Gucci web cable knit wool cardigan.

A perfect cover-up for those days when you feel like you need an extra piece of garment to stay warm, this chunky knit cardigan comes in a creamy white color and is accented with Gucci’s signature red and green details. Letting one of the sleeves causally slump from her shoulder, Hailey makes the case for the summer outerwear we’ve much ignored.

For $1,150 USD, you can purchase the Baldwin-approved Gucci cardigan from the Italian brand’s web store.

Side note, this vintage-inspired piece is in fact part of Gucci’s men’s collection. To learn how to incorporate menswear pieces into your everyday wardrobe, be sure to read our editor’s style guide.
