New Balance Just Dropped Its Brand New Chunky Dad Shoe – the X90
Arriving in four colorways.
New Balance is one of the OG’s when it comes to dad sneakers. The all-American brand has always been synonymous with chunky kicks but now that the style has fallen back into fashion in a big way, New Balance has updated its archive roster with a contemporary twist.
Adding to the lineup is this entirely new silhouette – the X90. Blending together the heritage look and modern, sporty details, the sneakers comprise of a breathable, mostly mesh upper with panels of leather on the heel and above the midsole. Alternating eyelets along the lacing unit bring an offbeat and fashionable touch to the practical kicks and other design details include the reflective N emblem on the sidewalls and X90 branding on the tongue. Completing the retro-futuristic look is the bulky REVlite midsole which makes for a more wearable alternative to more outrageous silhouettes like the Balenciaga Triple-S.
