adidas Consortium Has Unveiled a Chunky New “Workshop” Pack
Featuring the Falcon & SS2G silhouettes.
adidas Consortium‘s previous silhouette updates have included the Deerupt and an ARKYN sneaker made in collaboration with Danish footwear retailer Naked. Now, it’s back with a new “Workshop” release that encompasses influences from a myriad of sports on two key silhouettes.
The Falcon and SS2G sneakers each have a mostly white upper with small pops of yellow. The Falcon features a sock-like ankle that’s complemented by a lightweight Primeknit upper and suede panels in shades of grey. To contrast, Three Stripe branding appears in black and instead of laces, it’s secured by a practical toggle system. The SS2G boasts similar coloring but the design details feature – this one comes with an oversized, padded tongue and a rubber shell-toe finish, much like the classic adidas Originals Superstar 80s. Both silhouettes are completed by an on-trend, chunky midsole.
Take a look at the kicks above – they’re both set to release at select Three Stripe accounts on August 8. In more adidas news, have you peeped the Superstar boots?
