Aesop's New Williamsburg Store Is Equal Parts Minimal and Industrial

Aesop is an experience. One made more personal with a stop at its stores – its design, a minimal masterpiece, only barely second, to the products that line the shelves.
The Williamsburg store is the second to grace Brooklyn, and like other outposts, the design is a symbiosis with its environment – here being the East River that divides the two urban boroughs. The repurposed space is given a new lease translated into natural light bordering commanding timber columns and beams. Sinks signature to each Aesop store lay to the side, a quiet yet commanding presence beckoning you to a consultation. I obliged ushered into the lull that was the Parsley Seed Cleansing Oil, In Two Minds Facial Hydrator and Rejuvenate Intensive Body Balm.
