Covering Vogue‘s September issue is perhaps one of the biggest achievements in the fashion industry, and for Edward Enniful‘s first cover, the British Vogue editor-in-chief tapped none other than Rihanna. Shot by photographer Nick Knight, the iconic spread was styled by Enninful himself, and featured pieces from Prada, Alexander McQueen, and Riri’s own Savage X Fenty line.
After getting a look at the magazine set to release on August 3, we’re now getting a peek of the creation of the cover. Showcasing everything from the initial meeting between the editor and the Bajan singer, to styling as well as shooting, the video captures the process behind creating the important issue.
