Take a First Look at Aimé Leon Dore's Upcoming New Balance 990
The streetwear brand will release its own version of the classic dad sneaker.
UPDATE (November 4, 2019): Aimé Leon Dore has released teaser imagery of a second upcoming New Balance, this time the 990 V5. The newly announced sneaker comes in a sleek muted colorway featuring a navy blue upper, darker navy overlays and beige laces, finished off by a white sole.
The release date and price of the Aimé Leon Dore New Balance 990 V2 and V5 remain a mystery, so stay tuned.
ORIGINAL STORY (October 28, 2019): New York City-based lifestyle and streetwear brand Aimé Leon Dore will release a second sneaker with New Balance. Following the April 2019 release of a Dore-ified New Balance 997 and collection of apparel, Aimé Leon Dore has yet to announce specific details regarding the upcoming collaboration.
Judging from a preliminary peek at the lookbook, it appears the newest collaboration centers around the New Balance 990 V2. The classic dad sneaker is updated with dark grey and blue suede overlays, while mustard yellow laces add a pop of color.
