ABC Reveals a First Look at 'The Little Mermaid Live!' Cast — Watch the Teaser Here

While Disney‘s live-action remake of The Little Mermaid starring Halle Bailey is still a work in progress, you can relive your favorite childhood movie thanks to ABC‘s upcoming musical production, The Little Mermaid Live!
In honor of the 30th anniversary of the Disney animated classic, the television network will retell the familiar tale in a live musical event. According to CNN, the score will feature music from both the original 1989 film as well as the Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical.
In a promo video, ABC has revealed an official look at the cast, with Auli’i Cravalho (best known for her role in Moana) playing Ariel and Queen Latifah as the villainous Ursula.
The ensemble also sees Shaggy as crab Sebastian, John Stamos as Chef Louis and Riverdale actor Graham Phillips as Prince Eric.
Watch the clip above for a first glimpse at the characters. The Little Mermaid Live! is slated to air on ABC on November 5 at 8 p.m. EST.
