Chanel Launches Luxe Skincare Collection Powered by the Vanilla Plant
To pioneer four cleansers.
Chanel has officially unveiled the collection of vanilla-powered skincare products, alluded to in its recent beauty series, “Beyond the Jar,” that launched in September. The first installment of the short films delves into how the vanilla plant is harvested as well as its detoxifying properties.
The new Sublimage Cleansing Collection is enriched with the vanilla planifolia ingredient and detoxifying harungana extract. The L’Huile-En-Gel de Démaquillage is a lightweight gel-oil hybrid that dissolves makeup, while L’Eau de Démaquillage is an essence that removes impurities and smooths skin. Le Savon de Soin, a soap bar embossed with the vanilla flower foams into a rich cleanser when mixed in with water. Finally, Les Grains de Vanille scrubs away dead skin cells, with vanilla seeds and jojoba microbeads.
Chanel’s Sublimage Cleansing Collection ranges from $110 to $140 USD and is available online.
