Season two of the Netflix show Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is arriving at the top of next month. Today, the full-length trailer was unveiled and it picks up right where we last left Sabrina Spellman, partaking in a new lifestyle following her dark baptism.
Throughout the clip, Sabrina played by Kiernan Shipka is seen embracing the darker side of her personality. Throughout the trailer, she juggles her high school and her witch academy, which in turn means she is still comfortable flipping back and forth between both worlds. One major theme is emphasized in the entire video: making a choice between Harvey Kinkle (Ross Lynch) and Nick Scratch (Gavin Leatherwood). Coming as no surprise, her aunts, Satan, Ambrose and Father Blackwood also make appearances in the video.
In an official statement released by Entertainment Tonight, executive producer of the series Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa shares details on what to expect this season:
“[In part one] we were telling the story of Sabrina trying to hold on to the mortal world. She was dragged into the witch world – a little bit kicking and screaming. The second half of this season is kind of more about Sabrina accepting this part of her life and deciding, ‘What’s wrong with being a little bit wicked?’”
Part two of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will air on Netflix on Friday, April 5.
