Streetwear label Supreme has gained a cult following since its inception in 1994, and this year, the brand is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The iconic label opened its doors in downtown Manhattan and quickly became the home of the New York City skate culture. “At its core was a group of neighbourhood kids, skaters and local artists who became the store’s staff, crew, and customers,” said Supreme.
Over its 25-year period, Supreme has grown from its NYC origin into an international brand and community with 11 stores world-wide, as well as an even larger network of friends, family and followers that make up the core of the brand. To celebrate the anniversary, Supreme is launching an exclusive Swarovski crystal box logo T-shirt as well as hooded sweatshirts, arriving in black, grey, navy, red and white colorways. The box logo has become synonymous with the cult label, and this time the T-shirt logo sees 1,161 crystals and the hoodie 1,201 crystals applied by hand in New York City.
The Supreme 25-year anniversary capsule will be available in-store and online in NY, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, London and Paris stores on April 25. The collection will drop two days later in Japan, on April 27.
