Supreme Just Teased a Collaboration With Fashion Legend Jean Paul Gaultier

The “enfant terrible” takes on streetwear.

Never one to go long without announcing a surprise collaboration, Supreme has teased the news that its next partnership will be with none other than Jean Paul Gaultier. The iconic French designer, known as the “enfant terrible” of fashion, is renowned for his avant-garde designs and penchant for designing stage costumes for the likes of Madonna; a far cry from the low-fi skate aesthetic Supreme’s foundations are built on.

However, following recent collabs with a high-fashion affiliation – like the sellout Louis Vuitton range, it seems Supreme is comfortable balancing between the worlds of luxury and downtown cool. Taking to Instagram to share the news, the brand debuted an image of a man sporting a fuzzy coat with navy and red check details over a graphic yellow and black, pop art-style shirt and pants. Additionally there’s a black leather belt with a co-branded metal logo plate that boats the words Gaultier and Supreme.

Check out the post below and stay tuned on updates from this collaboration. In related news, peep Supreme’s newest jackets with The North Face.
