Nike’s Air Force 1 has a special place in all our hearts thanks to its timeless silhouette and myriad of updates in color, pattern and texture over the years. The latest rendition however is perfect for those who favour neutral color palettes but still crave interesting details on their favorite kicks.
Instead of leather, the upper is covered in crisp white canvas with laces and tonal stitching to match. To contrast the insole, heel tab and perimeter around the Swoosh arrive in a nude “Bio Beige” hue, as does the tongue, complete with embossed branding. A metallic update comes in the form of the gold-tone top eyelet and AF1 lace deubré and a white midsole with tan AIR branding on the side rounds out the look. If you lean in closer, you’ll see the entire upper is covered in delicate, barely-there basketball shapes with Swooshes hidden within – a homage to the Air Force 1’s legacy as a basketball shoe.
