Pyer Moss' "Ladies..." T-Shirt Is Sold Out, in Support of Reproductive Rights

In collaboration with The Yellowhammer Fund.

Pyer Moss‘ latest campaign in collaboration with The Yellowhammer Fund has already been sold out where 100 percent of the proceeds are going to support reproductive healthcare. The brand’s “Ladies…” unisex T-shirt went on sale last Saturday, July 27 on Pyer Moss’ website with a price tag of $125 USD.

Founded by Kerby Jean-Raymond, the designer’s T-shirt that reads “Ignore all advice that starts with ‘Ladies…’” has been featured in a short video in which the brand explains the overall message behind the campaign: “Much of the advice given to women and girls doesn’t come from a place of care but one of control. Every woman should have the right to control her career, her body, and her destiny.”

The T-shirt’s design serves as a response and rejection to the phrases recited in the clip like “Ladies, you shouldn’t swear” and “Ladies shouldn’t be too loud.” Like Jean-Raymond’s previous collections, this latest project aims to raise awareness through fashion and art. The co-founder of The Yellowhammer Fund previously told Teen Vogue:

“We want to show our Alabama lawmakers that Alabamians and people across America believe in abortion access and that they can’t make abortion stop if they make it illegal in our state. We are going to put all of the money that we raise into funding the practical and abortion-funding support network that exists in the deep South so that our people can get the abortion care they need.”

There are no current plans on restocking the T-shirt, however, we’ll keep you posted once we receive any updates. In the meantime, check out Pyer Moss x Reebok’s Experiment 3 “Pink.”
