Britney Spears' Paintings Will Feature in an Exhibition in France This Month

“Work It Hard Like It’s Your Profession.”

Big news – Britney Spears‘ artwork will be featured in a solo art show at a contemporary gallery in south-west France on Saturday, 18th January. The announcement was made by Galerie Sympa – the gallery holding the exhibition – last Monday via Instagram, posting a photo of the superstar’s infamous 2017 flower painting alongside the caption “We’re thrilled to announce that we will be opening @britneyspears first solo show”. This is one of many Britney-related posts on the gallery’s page. We think we might have found Spears’ number one fan.

Although a limited amount of information has been released about the exhibition, there are a few things we know for certain: the exhibition will be named Sometimes you just gotta play!!!!!! and will run “Till the world ends”. The title is referring to the video that the star posted on Instagram back in 2017 when she showed her artistic prowess, painting on an easel outside in a cozy, summer outfit. It was then that we knew, Britney was both a talented artiste and a dynamic and passionate artist.

The exact painting of multicolor flowers that featured in her IG post was later sold for $10K USD at a Las Vegas charity auction – with the profits going on the help the victims of the Route 91 Harvest Festival Shooting which had occurred one month prior – as well as then recently being used by Galerie Sympa to advertise the upcoming show. It’s more than likely that those attending will get to see the famous piece in person, but it’s unknown whether the star herself will be present at the show. Whatever happens, it’s still the moment that we’ve been waiting for over the past years. Let the Picasso see the Britney.
