Solaseed Air Japan Reveals 'Pokémon'-Themed Airplane
Dedicated to Miyazaki’s regional Pokémon mascot, Exeggutor.
Japan-based airline Solaseed Air has unveiled a special Pokémon-themed airplane for its Miyazaki-Tokyo route. Dedicated to the character Exeggutor, the plane is dressed with graphics of the Grass/Psychic/Dragon-type Pocket Monster in both its stout standard and elongated Alolan forms.
To get to the vehicle, you will be transported in a shuttle bus decorated with images of Exeggutor all over. Sticking to the theme, the seats feature the palm tree anime figure on the headrest. In addition, you will receive a limited certificate and a souvenir bag upon boarding the flight. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, many aren’t able to visit Japan to experience this Pokémon airplane. However, you can expect the Exeggutor plane and buses to be in operation for the next 18 months.
