Nike Welcomes Five New WNBA Athletes to the Jordan Brand Family
Marking the Jumpman’s largest female roster in history.
Last week, Nike announced the expansion of the Jordan Brand family. Its current female lineup includes New York Liberty‘s Asia Durr and Kia Nurse, and Minnesota Lynx‘s Maya Moore.
Now, the sportswear giant has tapped five new members: Jordin Canada of the Seattle Storm, Te’a Cooper of the Los Angeles Sparks, Crystal Dangerfield of the Minnesota Lynx, Dearica Hamby of the Las Vegas Aces and Satou Sabally of the Dallas Wings. This marks the largest women’s roster in the Jumpman’s history.
“Each of them has a bold, unique style on and off the court, with winning attributes that are rooted in the Jordan Brand’s DNA,” said Craig Williams, Jordan Brand’s President, in a press release. “Through their play, they’ll push the boundaries of the game to new heights.”
