Adidas by Stella McCartney Launches "Earth Explorer" Campaign
Starring Ella Emhoff, AUDREY NUNA and more.
adidas has teamed up with Stella McCartney for a campaign reconnecting activists of the current generation with nature and the outdoors. Titled “Earth Explorer,” the Fall/Winter 2021 collection features creatives like Ella Emhoff, actor and educator Yanece Cotto, artist Alima Lee and R&B musician AUDREY NUNA.
Next-gen model and activist Ella Emhoff showcases the campaign through a diary-style film showing the importance of mother nature and escapism. Speaking on her relationship with the environment, she shares: “I feel a very strong connection to the environment in the sense that to continue on as a world we need to protect it. It’s really important that coming out of this we as a society start to really hone in on sustainable practices that help protect the environment.” She adds: “This is an issue that is really easy to not confront and almost give up, but I truly think that alone should be the reason we fight even harder.”
The sustainable lineup is comprised of garments that can withstand harsh weather, including the All-in-One Bodysuit crafted with the brand’s AEROREADY technology to keep one warm and dry. Highlighting the range is the multi-purpose Sleeping Bag Puffer Jacket, which features removable sleeves and an inner belt to carry around easily. Additionally, the outerwear piece is crafted with adidas’ WIND.RDY technology to keep explorers dry and protected. Apart from the garments, the lineup also includes winter boots made with the brand’s COLD.RDY technology and PRIMEBLUE material consisting of 50% Parley Ocean Plastic.
