You Can Soon Add Your COVID-19 Vaccine Card to Your Apple Wallet
A convenient new feature reportedly set to release in the upcoming iOS update.
Following the new iOS 15, Apple has announced that users will be able to add their COVID-19 vaccine cards to the Apple Wallet in the upcoming update.
The current feature allows you to store verifiable COVID-19 vaccination or test result records in the Health app. You can also share your health data with other parties like your family or a caregiver in case of emergencies. Walking Steadiness has been added as well, which is a new metric that encourages you to proactively manage your fall risk.
While we have yet to wait for Apple to introduce the new feature, this update will come in handy when you are required to show proof of vaccination at restaurants, airlines, public venues and more.
