The New Trailer for 'Stranger Things' Season 4 Shows an Even Darker Side of Hawkins
“War is coming.”
Season 4 of Stranger Things seems to be even grittier than previous seasons, according to the new trailer.
In the teaser, a powerless Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is asked to go to war with the Upside Down, which means her “friends in Hawkins are very much in the eye of the storm.” The trailer also shows a few of the series’ main characters displaying what seems to be their own powers.
Stranger Things 4 will be jam-packed, which is why Matt and Ross Duffer decided to split the season in two parts — Volume 1 and Volume 2. “With nine scripts, over eight-hundred pages, almost two years of filming, thousands of visual effects shots and a runtime nearly twice the length of any previous season, Stranger Things 4 was the most challenging season yet, but also the most rewarding one,” they previously stated on social media. “Everyone involved is incredibly proud of the results, and we can’t wait to share it with you.”
Volume 1 premieres on May 27 on Netflix followed by Volume 2, which arrives on July 1st. Watch the trailer for Stranger Things 4 above.
