Gentle Monster is welcoming you back to high school for 2024 through the launch of its new optical collection. Offering a new, distinctive line of eyewear silhouettes, the new collection is accentuated by the brand’s “GENTLE HIGH SCHOOL” campaign, tapping into the high school experience — if robotics and martial arts were on the curriculum, of course.
Crafted with bold and sophisticated metal detailing, the new glasses collection offers tinted lenses in various hues, adding daring and futuristic elements to classic silhouettes. Special-edition packaging follows the same educational theme, arriving in a school backpack with a book-themed casing.
The accompanying campaign invites us into the school of Gentle Monster, featuring actor Nana Komatsu and musician Shinichi Osawa. Alongside the campaign, GM will host exclusive pop-up spaces in Seoul and Beijing, allowing visitors to experience the brand’s unique interpretation of high school and to receive “GENTLE HIGH SCHOOL” student IDs from a photo booth.
