NIGO and Nike Are Reportedly Collaborating
A co-branded sneaker may be on its way in 2024.
NIGO might be releasing a sneaker with Nike soon as industry insiders have revealed that the globally revered streetwear savant signed a deal with the footwear titan.
A report from Complex‘s Brendan Dunne shares that the already iconic duo is working on the first shoe, although eager fans won’t be able to get their hands on anything until 2024. Having founded A Bathing Ape and HUMAN MADE to creating cultural moments with Pharrell and stepping into the Artistic Director role at KENZO, NIGO is a household name for a reason. Although the gifted creative has teamed up with adidas and reimagined Nike’s footwear in the form of the BAPE STA Air Force 1 Low, this collaboration is a first.
Further fueling the rumors, the Japanese designer was seen wearing a Nike Go FlyEase on VERDY’s Instagram.
