The latest trend to be featured online is “By Balenciaga” videos. The luxury house isn’t technically affiliated with the videos; the clips are just reimaginings of famous characters we all know and love.
The characters are reimagined as “high-fashion” versions of themselves that have garnered millions of views. For instance, the first series of this kind was “Harry Potter by Balenciaga.” Now, there’s “Batman by Balenciaga,” “Star Wars by Balenciaga,” “Marvel by Balenciaga,” “Lord of the Rings by Balenciaga,” “Breaking Bad by Balenciaga,” “Game of Thrones by Balenciaga,” and “The Office by Balenciaga.”
This year, AI has taken center stage in media. Many artists, such as Drake and Grimes, have taken a stance, showing their disapproval or approval for AI-generated music that uses their voices in songs.
