Watch Halle Bailey Perform 'The Little Mermaid's "Part of Your World" for the Very First Time
Get ready to be left in awe.
Halle Bailey couldn’t be more perfect for the role of Ariel in the live-action of The Little Mermaid and her recent performance of “Part of Your World” proves it.
The actor-slash-singer’s special rendition of the classic song was part of Sunday night’s American Idol episode.
“First time singing part of your world live since filming,” she said of the performance on Twitter. “Thank you American Idol for giving me the chance to do so on stage at Disneyland. Singing vocals in freezing cold weather at 3 a.m. while the park is closed is no joke but we did it! Only 11 more days until you all can watch the film!”
“Part of Your World” is just one of the many Disney classics featured in the film. However, you can expect some lyrical changes in some of the songs, including “Kiss the Girl“ and “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” which were modified to include consent.
